Last year, our children experienced
huge gains, earning the highest number of A’s
that they have ever received as well as their
lowest number of F’s. Spiritually, many developed
the foundation they’ll need to experience abundant
life. Each academic achievement, personal accomplishment
and expression of faith has been reason for
us to celebrate.
With your ongoing support and God’s divine blessings,
many of our children are blossoming into honor-roll
students and excellent citizens.
Student highlights
Of the 638 children that we served in
2009-2010 , many experienced an academic and
personal transformation. Following are student
highlights.

MIND
- 73% of our children passed all of their classes (a 16% increase from 1st Qtr)
- 45% made all ABC’s (a 45% increase from 1st Qtr)
- 130 kids were on the honor roll (up from 42 last year)

BODY
- 100% were offered a hot, nutritious
meal each day
- 100% were up-to-date on physicals and
immunizations
- 100% received eye exams*
*Of the children who needed eyeglasses,
we were able to arrange for 31% to receive
eyeglasses by working with the Illinois
Eye Institute and Lens Crafters.

Illinois Standard Achievement Test (standardized

- Reading ISAT from 15 to 27 (a 74% increase)*
- Math ISAT from 12 to 25 (a 104% increase)*
