A Christmas tradition that brings joy to our students
“It’s a blessing to be here.” That’s how 6th grader Brenton described joining his By The Hand friends for our annual Christmas in the City trip during an interview with CBS News. He and 150 other students spent the evening shopping for Christmas gifts, taking in the holiday decorations, and sipping hot chocolate while admiring the grand Christmas tree in Millennium Park. Now in its 24th year, this tradition is something our students look forward to every holiday season.
