Rep. La Shawn Ford joins 50-mile ‘Bike Across Chicago’ to support Chicago youth
We are so grateful to Illinois State Rep. La Shawn Ford, who joined FOX Chicago to share why he’s participating in our 4th annual Bike Across Chicago, a 50-mile bike ride to raise $50,000 for By The Hand. The funds raised by the riders help support our work across all our club sites, which are central to delivering literacy support, building social-emotional skills, and providing a safe and engaging space for students after school and throughout the summer months.
