Sariyah’s leaders spurred on her growth as a person and as a student. “They helped me get my homework done, supported me with compliments, pushed me when I needed it and even provided extra work outside of school.” Her leaders began to call out her brightness and intelligence, and over time she began to see it, too.

“By The Hand wants us to be ready. They want us to succeed.” As Sariyah sets her eyes on college and a career as nurse, she’s grateful for the support she’s received. “Being here makes me think differently about my future. I know I can help people in lots of places.”
