Paityn’s Story

When Paityn first enrolled in By The Hand, she loved everything about the program with the exception of Blended Learning (Lexia). Paityn was behind grade-level and was at risk for not passing the first grade. Paityn was frustrated with her results on Lexia at first, but with her parents encouragement she continued to work hard on her reading score.

By the end of the year Paityn was reading at grade level!

Before the end of the school year Paityn’s dad came and personally thanked By The Hand staff for helping his daughter. He told us that Paityn was once again on grade level and will now be able to attend the second grade this fall. Paityn now enjoys Blended Learning because it has given her the ability to become a better reader. Thank you for supporting Lexia and students like Paityn.
